He Is With You

"...For He has said, 'I will never leave you, nor forsake you.' So we can confidently say,

'The Lord is my Helper, I will not fear, what can man do to me?'"

God, the Creator of the universe, the One who has made all things in heaven and earth, the One who intricately knit every human together in their mothers womb, makes the promise to His people that He will be with them. This is the same promise that He has made to His people throughout all of redemptive history. You see, the Creator is infinitely greater than the creation. So if God (The Creator) says to His people (the creation) "I will be with you always, in all things", then this should produce fearlessness in them. A confidence that goes beyond anything they could muster up on their own; a confidence that is founded in the One who created them.

This is what God has promised to you, child of God: He is with you. What more do you need? Allow His perfect love to drown any fears that you might have and press on... knowing that He is a steadfast anchor for your soul and that He promises you something so much greater than anything this world could offer you- His presence- Where there is fulness of joy, forever.
